My First Practice Inkle Weaving Band

To make this band I used some Sugars and Cream yarn I had in my stash. This is a Plain Weave. The First Top five threads are color A (Camel) the last five threads are the same as the first five,  the center threads which I used ten of them in this pattern are color B (Green). Here I am talking about Heddled Threads. The Bottom or Non-Heddle threads are Opposite color combination of the Heddled Threads.

Happy Weaving!

what you'll find in this blog

hi everyone I am Sorella Jennifer and in this blog you will find an intricate amount of different types of weaving. I use to do a lot of crochet work , but frequently had to stop periods of time due to pain in my hands.
I came across Inkle weaving and kindly ask my husband to make me a loom. he did and I noticed that when I was weaving the pain was not there. then I knew that I would be able to do weaving. so in this blog you will see Card Weaving or tablet weaving, Backstrap Weaving and Inkle Weaving as well. I am just beginning this journey and I would like to share it with you all. you will also see blogs and web sites of interest that will be helping me throughout my weaving journey.
